HealthSouth Vineland Receives President's Circle Award

VINELAND, N.J. – HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Vineland received the National Presidents’ Circle Award during the 2010 HealthSouth Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet, held in Chicago, Ill.
HealthSouth of Vineland is one of only 12 hospitals in HealthSouth’s network of almost 100 hospitals to receive the prestigious award. This distinction recognizes the hospital’s outstanding performance in development of clinical programs, quality of patient care services, employee retention and overall operational excellence.
“Being honored with the Presidents’ Circle Award is recognition for our commitment to providing high-quality healthcare,” said HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Vineland CEO Tammy Feuer. “Our team has focused on patient satisfaction and has achieved outcomes above national benchmarks related to improvement in functional independence thus enabling more patients to return home. As the only provider of inpatient acute rehabilitation in the county, HealthSouth increased our beds and the complexity of services offered in order to meet the growing needs of the community. I applaud our staff and take great pride in accepting this award on behalf of our physicians, nurses, therapists and all other hospital staff.”
A series of “Best of the Best” celebrations took place to reward the hospital staff for their efforts, dedication and commitment to providing patients with excellent care. The celebrations included food and desserts that were featured as “Best of the Best” in the Vineland Daily Journal’s “Best Of” awards.
